Photoshop Stencil

Firstly, i went on google images and searched for a background image and an image of birds flying and saved them. I then opened them both in photoshop. Then i went to image>adjustments>curves and adjusted the curve. I made the darker areas darker to create a silhoutte. Then i selected the magic wand tool from the tool bar and selected the black area. Then i went to menu>inverse then pressed the backspace key to delete selection and go to menu>deselect. Then i selected the paintbrush tool, clicked on colour swatch in tool menu which opened the colour picker then selected black. I adjusted the brush size then selected the eraser tool, using paint brush and eraser i edited the silhoutte. I then took the image of the birds and used the magic wand tool to select the areas of the image required. I then selected the paint brush tool and clicked on the colour swatch tool. Using the tool i filled in the selection made by the magic wand. I moved the image of the birds onto the silhoutte and positioned it, clicked on background layer, open and unlock, selected the magic wand tool, selected the white area on background layer, select menu>inverse. Deleted the the selection by clicking backspace. I then went to Layers windows and create a new layer. Clicked colour swatch, selected bucket tool, clicked bucket tool onto the image, went to layer window and made another new layer, selected the required collous, selected elliptical marquee, created a circular selection, selected bucket and finally, clicked bucket into the circular selection.
